One last straggler from AC needing cleaning. A good warm water rinse. Dry. Re apply some silicone to keep him shiny. Done. Not sure if I’ll bring Abe to Dragon con this year. A few others demand stage time. * frumps*

First test of Finn V2 and Parade garb of Finn V1 was a success. 70% fully tested. Buying some dry film lube for some stuff in the face. Might use Finn v1's feet, but not sure yet. I'm hoping this year's parade won't be me baking in heat. A month to go.

It's the calm kinda weekend mornings where I can wake up, put on some latex, chill out to some tech youtube videos and sip coffee. It's not a con, visits with friends, and stuff. It's also not a stressed out morning either. Thankful for that. I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

I only have 3 full suit slots left open for 2027. Also small parts commission slots, too!

Trying to figure out how to get Trailz outfitted for an incredibly loose, Bunny Hutch cosplay-ish outing at Dragon Con this year. I'm hitting a wall because the phenomenon that is Bunny Hutch has always been on the far periphery of my radar, and Thursday is always our first day there.

Because costume, Saber, and LARGE... I always wanted this costume. Pink is a little, NOT me, but eh...can't win them all. But now I really want it! JUST FOR DRAGON CON! Then walking around with the head off and looking grumpy AF is totally canon to the cosplay. WANT!! :D

It's been an ok day. Maybe a little vertigo induced nausea this evening. I still should have gone to Daytona Beach today. *grumps*

By this time last year, I had used over a weeks worth of vacation days. This year I’ve used well under a weeks worth of hours. I think I need to plan an escape.

I feel like I just spin my wheels when it comes to me wanting to purchase a particular thing. If I wait too long I’ll loose the opportunities to use it. It’s forcing me to consider just “sending it” but compromising on some things to do so.

Visited the anime con with @eddiebear58.bsky.social @/Vixitty today. It was pretty well full with so many cosplayers as it was it's first year. I also got to go up to Jason Marsden and finally thank him being the highlight of my day at DragonCon 10 years ago. XD *longer story*

I heard there were, or used to be, method to connect these old flip phones to a smart phone to use as a headset. I don’t think this one qualifies. But these are still sexy little pieces of metal. I only had one of these nicer ones for less than a year before I got a smart phone.

I had to chuckle. I got queried on my camera because of the lens / camera color match, quite a few times at AC. I've been carrying around a camera since kindergarten but I never got good. Don't care to. I just like taking photos and sharing. So I tried not talking shop. ;)😅

It's so weird / frustrating to put everything up from AC only to have nearly the same load-out for DragonCon in 50+ days. On the other hand, it's a fresh layout of what worked/didn't work and helping with a xcell workbook for suit packing relative to venue,help available,duration

I’m thinking I need to upgrade my office suite and I need to preserve Microsoft publisher. I don’t know the risk with these people. I think I’ve gotten something from them before, but I don’t want my office deactivated in a year. And I don’t have thousands of dollars.

Last week, while just chilling out doing the barkshark poodling, I got the coolest shiny creatures coming up to say hi. Totally some of the best parts of the evening.
