Just saw Digger. I thought it was quite good and fun, not exactly what I was expecting (in a good way). Strayed quite far from the original Pratchett book but I guess they had their reasons.

I subscribe to The Rackenfracker and recommend it. The creativity in gridding is fantastic and they all obviously love cryptics so much and make it their business to make their puzzles both super-tricky but also widely accessible at the same time.

To grow the North American solvership, we produce American-forward cryptics (that, as our foreign solvers tell us, can be just as insular). Since there’s so much stacked against any Yank learning cryptics, we strive to bring them ingenuity on par with a UK puzzle, but literally on their own terms.

Two things I enjoyed this week. Book: "Inside the Box - How Constraints Make Us Better" by David Epstein Film: "Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie" (finally got round to watching it, great stuff)
