Which filament for the celestial kitties? The one on the left is a dark navy with sapphire blue glitter. The one on the right is a purpleish-black with sapphire and gold glitter. They’re both very similar to blue goldstone and just as difficult to photograph. 😑

Bluesky, I'm going out of town next week and I'm gonna post a few things I think are amazing here since I'll be closing the shop Monday to avoid having any leftover orders. So buckle up if you got a couple bucks! www.adornedbyshivani.com/product/dang... I love these cute felinoids. #bsnm

Lol cat on your ears

For cat lovers, enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike, behold! The bold swinging cat earring. One of the few designs I do over and over again in lots of colors

Take two of kitty, because there was something I really wanted to do with this one. Early on I decided it should have stars. I couldn’t remember if there was a cat constellation, so I looked… and there isn’t. Not anymore. Which took me down a fascinating rabbithole about obsolete constellations.

Every digital artist too. Usually also with a horrible mess of eleventy-seven unlabeled layers, only three of which are actually toggled to visible for use in the exported FINALnoREALLY3dammitUSETHISONEcmyk-resized2-fullbleedACTUALLYFINAL6.png file.

A question! I originally designed SPORKLE PANDA (I think that’s her name now, ooops) with a small section of holes for post earrings and then two slots for hooks to hold rings or other small items. I’m now wondering if it should be all post earrings there? Or should I offer two variants?

A closeup of SPORKLE PANDA’s butt. There are 8 pairs of small stud earrings placed into the holes, and then the slots below have hooks inserted to hold rings.

The extremely undignified squeaking noise you just heard was me after pulling this off the printer. 😍 I think I may need to use a different white filament, this one is pretty translucent and I don’t love the way the black bled through in a couple spots, but AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

A sparkly black and white panda shaped jewelry holder. A closeup of part of it showing that the white filament isn’t as opaque as it needs to be to hide the black

ALSO speaking of 3D printing, if you order something from me and you have a cat, please tell me because we are starting to be overrun with these jingle-jangle balls and I either need to get more cats (NO) or get better foisting my surplus balls off on other people. …that sounded better in my head.

A person’s hand holding two cat toys. They are hollow balls with multiple circular openings and inside the ball there is a smaller ball. One is rainbowy and the other is purple with silver glitter.

If my jewelry holders are out of your budget at their regular price, I have a bunch of seconds and test prints that I will be listing this week at discounted prices - all perfectly useable, just with minor flaws or one-offs printed in a filament that I ended up not putting into production.

Also I have acquired filament that I think is going to print up to the EXACT color of blue goldstone and I don’t know yet what I’m going to do with it but AAAAAAAAAH (No photo because much like blue goldstone it’s going🖕🏻at me when I try to photograph it, but IYKYK)

Consensus was very strongly YES SPORKLE PANDA and I have what I think will be excellent filament choices arriving tomorrow and will be able to start the final test prints possibly as soon as tomorrow night. (Not-sparkle will be available as print on demand!)

Very important question for those of you waiting for the panda jewelry holder - SPARKLE or NOT SPARKLE? Trying to decide what filament to use. There are no photos of sparkle since I don’t have that filament yet, but here is not sparkle:

A photo of a black and white jewelry holder shaped like a panda with bamboo-shaped cutouts on her legs and torso.

Sooooooo how sure are we at this point that the outbreak is limited to lettuce? One of my current MCAS safe foods requires scallions and it is NOT good with cooked scallions. (I tried. It was edible but I did not enjoy it.) And I have exhausted my supply of pre-outbreak regrown scallions.

I homeschool and was homeschooled, so I can’t speak to school lunches, but my kid and I are both on Medicaid and the annual redetermination process is an exhausting barrage of paperwork that boils down to “why are you still poor and how dare you have any assets.” Applying for SNAP is even worse.

I believe the intention is to further exhaust already exhausted parents and discourage them from applying. If they manage to apply, then the intention is to humiliate them, subject them to scrutiny, and single out their kids.
