The days in Bern were very nice! Great weather and meeting a lot of old friends. ☺️ It was good to be back.

Tuesday morning, 8.50 am, I was getting up. Now it's Wednesday evening, at 6 p.m., and in the meantime, we flew 9,280 km by plane from Zurich to Hong Kong. And we both never slept! I was working the whole day, while my son was gaming and editing videos. I still feel pretty good 🫣

What I heard today: «it’s not the hottest summer in Europe at the moment! It’s one of the coldest summers you will experience until the end of your life!» It’s probably true. And you’ve to get used to it.

It’s time. I’m heading back home. One last beer and then we are off with Cathay Pacific to Hong Kong.

What does the bold man of the family do on the most sunniest, and maybe even the hottest day ever in Switzerland? He loses his cap in the tram and gets a red head 🙄

After the mountains, it was time to visit the Tierpark in Bern to see some bugs and snakes. Remember when I was there as a kid? It looked much different. Today you can see fewer animals, but they have much more space. That’s good.

I’ve posted a 3-star review. In Germany, that’s not allowed anymore? Well, I won’t go to that restaurant anymore, for good.

Imagine, 12 months ago, and for the second time in my life, I was in a restaurant. Today I returned: the two staff from Laos and Nong Khai look at me and ask: «Where is your son? I remember you came one year ago eating in my restaurant with your son!» Impressive memory!

Today is a break day. My son got a fever and probably a cold. He slept for 12 hours nonstop. It is best to rest for a day or 2 here. Also a part of traveling.

Some photos I post here are unedited. I was heading with my son to Engelberg, and we ended up on the Stanserhorn in Switzerland. A very nice place. Another great day of our holidays in Switzerland! 🇨🇭

Sometimes I’m adventurous. Someone I know for one day only asked me to go to Nan with them. I just agreed. So in September, I’m heading to the North of Thailand. 🇹🇭 Is that a good idea? 😅
