Pleased to announce that our paper, "Can IOCs Impose Cost?", has been published in ACM CCS. Does publicly releasing cybersecurity threat intelligence (CTI) actually force adversaries to adapt their behavior, which "impose costs" as the theory goes? We decided to empirically test it.
