Also while I'm on unc-rant mode, saying shit like "I don't usually like [race you play] but I love your character" is not a compliment. It sounds weird, it's dismissive and backhanded. You're putting an entire group of people down to elevate a single person and it makes you sound very unlikeable.
Just know that there are genuine folks who DO & LOVE the work you do! Not everyone might find it their cup of tea, and thats ok! There are people out there who gush and love the stuff that you do. It does suck to get hate for something you enjoy&love. I hope those negative comments donโt get to you!
I feel sad seeing those posts of people sharing the bad thing said of their ocs ๐ฅบ If you donโt got anything nice to say, maybe donโt say it? Like if its not your cup of tea, youโre always free to scroll on and ya know, let them enjoy their own thing. To them, its their whole world and happiness!
