I'm Xenothekid, just an artist looking to survive and ready to take on the world again. No, I don't condone N-F-T's or A-l. Commissions are open! (DM for details) #Art #CharacterDesign

I just filled this and this is what I had to say about AI for the EU. Please, go tell them what you think about it. The people in charge need to understand what its people actually wants and thinks, and not what the sociopats from the bigtechs are pushing.

A screenshot of a text that reads: "AI for creative fields is a mistake.
The data centers required to make them function are monstruosities that destroy the enviroment and inflate the price of technologic parts for everyone.
All the information that is required to make them work is based on stolen creative content, making a tool that doesn't create - only processes and regurgitates something that once was art - and has no concept of whatt makes art what it is, without any compensation for its original creators.
The easy access to something that looks like art for the untrained eyes is putting artists all over the world out of job. Nothing new or interesting is being created, and the people flooding the world with it are in entirelly for the effortless profit that's barely there; no wonder the datacenters are drowning in debt.
There are studies that show the constant use of AI is compromissing people's hability to think and to create, as it is overloading workers that have to revise and correct the work made by AI.
The said AI is not actual inteligence: it's a trending processor that will give the user something that looks like what they want, based on what it saw online.
I expect the EU to do better than this, by not selling the advances for the enviromental sustainability in exchange for instant reward and permanent decrease of inteligence, creativity, and critical thinking of its people."

European artists! The EU commission is opening a feedback on the use of AI in the cultural and creative fields. Their vision is clearly pro-use of AI, but we clearly have an opportunity to push back: ec.europa.eu/info/law/bet...
