Aaand I finally got a pottery wheel as a gift, and so far I’ve only managed to throw a little bowl on it, but it came out...nice?.. and centered. Well, centering the clay’s not a problem, but I’m still figuring out how to prep the lump without air bubbles somewhere inside
I’m slowly getting better at making them more even. Got a bit carried away and made around ten in one evening—just hand-building them all. I’ll show it with glazes later—maybe you’ll find something you’d like to have. (They’re still just raw clay cups and tumblers for now—not fired yet.)
Finally something cute Not what I expected from the gray glaze but ok
My entire apartment is a drying rack Shelves, windowsills, stools, the top of the fridge — everything's covered in leather-hard mugs, bowls, and "maybe this will work" shapes. I'm like a squirrel hoarding clay. I sculpt, I stash, I stare. And I'm slowly learning not to poke them every 15 minutes.
