If people tell you "using AI in software engineering is inevitable," know it's not true. We don't use any AI in programming Dawnsbury Days. It is quite possible, and, I think, necessary. I can't imagine doing otherwise. One just needs to stop seeing "productivity" as the ultimate goal of life.
