I’m thrilled to hear that Trump wants these data centers built right to Mar-a-Lago. That really may be the best solution to this whole predicament.

We don’t know anything except the $ and that Hartel “had to get back to Germany”. Thats a lot of missing info. Maybe #AllforCity FO got fleeced. Maybe the full story shows that they did the right thing and we would all understand their motives. Maybe both are true. It’s okay to say “I don’t know”.

It was like watching an aging boxer beat the shit out of a super drunk frat kid. You can tell the boxer knows what they’re doing, but it wasn’t honorable prey. We looked awful

Rooting for the USMNT is not rooting for the administration or its awful policies. If anything, soccer in the US is so much closer to the country we love—diverse racially, culturally, linguistically, and in all other ways. It’s the sport of immigrants and people that Trump will never understand.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads & father figures that stepped out to look out for kids that needed somebody around. I had one of the best. (I know it’s early, but storms tomorrow were threatening my gift to myself… pork steaks, grilled eggplant, summer squash, and a tangy carrot & Serrano slaw”)

To be insulted by Trump should be seen as one of the highest honors a person can receive. He only loathes and fears people with a strong moral compass. Good on you, Mr. Mueller.

Not sure if it’s showing up on the broadcast, but here at the Park I’m loving watching Sangbin. He is doing a ton of work off the ball to make something happen. Quickly becoming one of my #allforcity favorites to root for

So, like, it’s weird that this needs to be said, but unless you’re biting your finger and signing in blood, you are also using a tool to express your intention to write your name.

“Guy known for scamming people decides to shut down federal agency in charge of policing scams” is a headline I think we all could have predicted a year ago… but it’s still frustrating to read it in real life. Who knew I cared so much about the CFPB?

Just taught the same lesson I teach every year on “Traits of a Healthy Democracy” and I’ve now been asked by multiple students if I’m criticizing President Trump. So, that’s a sign.

Well, it’s another Traitors’ Day, but one more absurd than the last 3. Pray for us, the high school civics teachers, that have to go to work & teach about the principles of our republic with a straight face. Suffice to say, the lesson on “rule of law” now brings up a lot of good follow up questions

My son’s soccer practice was just cancelled—too many kids going to the USMNT match tonight. I think I’m about to cave and get us tickets too… stupid, expensive passions. See ya’ll at CITYPARK for the last time!

Wasn’t trump upset about DEI programs because he thought it meant unqualified people were getting put into important jobs they didn’t deserve?

Newbie question: what’s the slang for posting around here? As much as I love the idea of “I just tweeted everyone…” becoming “I just blue’d everyone…”, I’m thinking that’s not right.

The hardest part about making sense of the current political environment is that, as an educator, I just want people to do their *fact-based* research and then come up with an opinion, but for so many people there seems to be waning interest into whether or not they are factually correct.
