I.went ahead and drew a ref sheet of some of my old OCs. Some of these are pretty obscure tho... and I think I got the name of the bunny one wrong.

Rewatching a 20 year old anime for a project I am working on... and I just cannot remember why I used to like this... its mostly incredibly boring.
Its funny that I started this account in Japanese but it quickly turned English only while my old twitter account started in English and went Japanese only. Doesn't help that not a single Japanese friend I have uses Bluesky.

It never ceases to amaze me how misaligned amount of effort I put into a thing and how well that thing are recived are. That won't stop me from drawing things no one else cares about tho, because I still have to draw what I want to draw (or I'll leave it unfinished for 17 years again)

An attempt was made. Supposed to be Chii from Chobits, but a bit too heavy for that telephone pole. Maybe パソコン can get big like this if their lithium expands? lol I redrew this at least 10 times aleady though so I am ready to move on. also on pixiv here www.pixiv.net/artworks/146...

I made an attrmpt to focus on better faces and ended up drawing Led from Septerra core (which almost no one remembers but I always regretted doing a bad job on before). Not sure if its actually better but attrmpts were made. I added various productiom steps to pixiv: www.pixiv.net/artworks/146...

been working on more single sketches to CG. This one is of lum again. I am working on a small sequence to follow up on this soon.
@kipteitei.bsky.social challenged me to draw digitally with a single layer and this is what I came up with. Hopefully I am learning something this time, lol. Lum from Urusei Yatsura, but a little pear shaped.
Still retraining. Shaula's design (especially the eyes) bug me so she makes a good practice subject for now. Still struggling with anatomy but it doesn't stop me from wanting to try more dynamic poses. Please bare with me as I work out my issues while trying to relearn drawing.
So I try to properly retrain myself via the supposedly "correct" methods and I think I might be qualified to draw fat boxes now? Maybe I should focus on other methods. lol
I need more time for practice. But I also need better subject material. lol
I wasn't really a fan of how the sequence turned out so I gave Shaula another crack with a different pose. I like the pose better but it still feels off. Clearly I am lacking in some fundamentals so I am going to do some more practice sketching for a while...
