let's talk about "agents" (in the LLM sense). there's a lot of buzz around "multi-agent" systems where agents collaborate but... i don't really get how it differs from a thinking of a single agent with multiple modes of operation. what are the benefits of modeling as multi-agent?

I propose we switch from saying preprint / published paper to saying publish / reprint. "I published my paper on arxiv and I'm hoping to get it reprinted in Nature"
Samuel Moore@samuelmoore.org · 2y agoI'm all for the early sharing of research, but the only meaningful definition of 'preprint' is in the negative -- i.e., an article that hasn't been formally peer reviewed/published. The problem is this definition doesn't describe any evaluative process the work has undergone to get to that stage.

Oof, the last 48 hours have truly been an acid test for parts of the scientific/tech community. Their hatred of E drove them here, only to realize it had already been hijacked by something much worse. It's a true disillusionment... it's their side being just as shitty as the other.
