the whole class got wrecked by this test we took, there were several gasps when the professor said we only had 30 minutes left and maybe 10 people out of 130 turned their papers in before the test was done. pretty funny. if I got a 50 I'll be surprised.

I don’t do a lot of this but every once in a while I look way too far ahead in the program and get excited about classes that I’m like 2 years away from. Also think about ideas for my senior project that may or may not be possible, I don’t know enough to know if my ideas violate laws of physics.
heavily doubting the professor is reading all 130 of these 'tell me about yourself' assignments. I don't expect the electrical and computer engineering department to be like a poetry seminar or something. its fine.

this job took a turn and now i've been yelled at, another guy got drunk and called a supervisor and yelled at him, an apprentice told me someone they newly transferred to the site is a "spy" and we still run out of nuts and bolts like 3x a week.

A while ago I took apart a crappy bookcase we had and made tripods for the tomato plants by ripping the scraps into 1” strips. The tripods don’t work well so I tossed them in my storage unit and they’ve sat there for several years and I’m now remaking them into more effective trellises.
a friend asked me if electricians were sabotaging data centers, doing the will of the ppl etc, and I was kind of shocked to even hear the question.
changed my life. I'm glad I met him when I did, and I'm so sad he's gone.
Don Hughes@donaldhughes.ca · 5mo agoWe've found that our friend T-Paine passed away recently. He was both funny and had a white hot anger at war that was consistent for the 20 odd years we'd known him. It was nice to see him connect with many of you over the past few years.
