I’m not surprised we’re at the point where ai/machine translation is becoming normal for fan translation. I’ve seen it before. I more wonder if people usually opposed to ai art etc will be as vocal, or if it will go out the window and the desire to play Japanese games will triumph.

I bought a box of random retro junk and in amongst the various bits of, well, total crap; there also happened to be this 5 1/4 inch floppy disk of visually crunchy porno. The pervert who owned this can rest soundly knowing that his 80's smut has been preserved for generations of gooners to cum.

Twitch is officially releasing age verification in the UK. Users will need to verify their age using an in-app facial scan; otherwise, they will lose access to watching mature content based on Content Classification Labels (CCLs).

mike mcmahon drew deadlock from abc warriors and sonic for someone (he did art for fleetway sonic the comic) and tbh this is fucking awesome
I was so distracted by Tails death staring at Sonic the I didn't even notice that Amy's car has eyes and a mouth...
So I was reminded of this image and immediately opened GIMP to put this text on it. I then came to Bluesky to post it and hesitated because I thought "This is really fucking dumb and I'm sure it's been done already" and then I thought "Ah fuck it, I'm not wasting the 3 mins it took me to make it."
