Microsoft decided it was a good idea to not support the "/pt" parameter on mspaint.exe ? So, no more easy 1 liner to print an image file on Windows from a terminal I guess? (yes, I do that sometimes. Don't you??)

Brains are weird, and I caught myself correcting a point of grammar that was "English" in something that was written in French. I had an "avoir" in a construction that would work with "have" in English, where french uses "être" (be) 🫠

I found that there's a nice AUR package to install Windows 11 fonts into Arch cleanly: ttf-ms-win11 I have a dual boot so, simply mount windows partition (read only is fine), copy all the /Windows/fonts/* files into the build cache directory (if you use yay it will be .cache/yay/ttf-ms-win11) first

Maybe I am missing something, but I cannot find a good replica or a good analog of this input device on the space shuttle's cockpit that can be just used on a computer. It is called the THC: Translation Hand Controller, and is a 3 DoF device used for... Well, translation control in space!
one of the shiny new stuff that I need to look at is this new language to write shaders called Slang shader-slang.org I think it is a Khronos standard. It also happens that currently the LunarG Vulkan SDK ships a compiler for it. That's wide enough adoption to consider this seriously!

It is a good thing that SteamWorks by default remove PDB files from your game builds. It is rare to see a Unity game made by an indie that *does not* contain the `_DoNotShip` folder in it.
