I absolutely understand that people would be angry and disappointed if they’d lost a loved one and the perpetrators had to be released early due to overcrowding in prisons. But. What do they think the alternatives are?

I was, indeed, there when we were shit. More mundanely, I make .NET things to an adequate level of competence, and music is my thing.
The fact that Salah will end up at Trabzonspor is quite revealing tbf.
the blocking capacity here means those shitbags can't get a foothold and they can't stand it. they don't exist if they can't have the useless, performative fight. Bluesky's fine, as is. if you bend it to accommodate MAGA and FASCISTS, that's not a discussion, that's killing your business. Promise.
Bluesky's new CEO Toni Schneider on the platform's reputation for being a liberal bubble: "Yes, we definitely want that to change. It is already changing. It certainly wasn’t designed to attract one specific group of people."
You barely know the difference between your arse and your elbow you dozy little prick.
Trump: "I know Europe better than anybody. Better than the people that run it."
There is liquid falling from the sky. Witchcraft.
I rather suspect that Liverpool will have a worse season than they did last year. Deeply unconvinced that the problem was JUST Slot. I think they just spunked £400m on players who don’t fit. Slot’s lack of charisma meant he couldn’t carry the fans with him.
This is a very good point. Fifa needs football but football doesn't need Fifa. Fifa has no intrinsic value. There is no special reason it should be maintained and reformed. We could close it tomorrow and organise the World Cup and other tournaments anew and not one thing would be lost.
My entire life I’ve never called it the FIFA World Cup. I’ve always called it the World Cup. Fans don’t give a shit about FIFA. If national teams showed up for a World Cup tournament not held by FIFA we would all watch it. World Cup is the brand. FIFA is nothing.
I think he’s got a long way to go. Potentially outstanding. Also, would be nice to see us actually sell a player!
🚨 Transfer Update Reports in Nigeria claim Derby County are closing in on the signing of Arthur Okonkwo from Wrexham AFC, with a medical reportedly set to take place today. A huge story if true. 👀 How would you feel #WxmAFC fans?
The question is…will he be allowed to quit? A lot of money changed hands…
The Farage drop is, I think, potentially more consequential medium term than the Burnham bounce (which will fade I'm sure). Reform are a one man band, built around Farage's brand. If he becomes toxic (a) he might quit politics (as he has before) (b) whether he does or not they have no plan B.
Really enjoyable game. Shouldn’t have lost it, but have to take your chances if you want to get anything. Plenty of positives, the negatives really only relate to the gaps in the squad we already know about. Decent.
Hate to say it but I think Moore is done, y’know? The loss of intensity when he replaces Smith has been really noticeable for far too long now.
Haha Wrexham have missed some chances here. But… We all know we need a right wing back and a striker as a bare minimum. Today has just given us another reminder.
Haha poor old Brunt’s had a mare since coming on. Allowed Ngumoha to run into the area, missed a sitter and nearly scored an own goal! Get it all out of the way before the season starts lad.
Dobbo excellent since coming on. The one player we all thought would struggle with the step up to Championship football and he’s just consistently raised his game.
Very impressed with Wrexham’s press resistance.
Broadhead really grinds my gears at times. Just release the fucking ball dude.
Different challenge for Ndukwe now. Moore will just look to pin him.
Fun little first half. Wrexham grown into it, limited Liverpool to very little after the first 10 and probably should have scored one of those chances. Keillor-Dunn bright. Szoboszlai very clearly on a different planet, and I REALLY like Ndukwe. He’s handled Smith brilliantly which isn’t easy.
That’s 2 Doyle could have scored. He’s such a threat.
Kerkez should be absolutely dominating Longman here. He is not.
Ndukwe really, really good so far. Hardly given Smith a kick, and he has given a LOT of very good centre forwards a hard time. Smith onside there btw. Good effort, good save.
Keillor-Dunn really brightens so far. Probably looks like the most likely to make something happen for Wrexham.
Wrexham settled now. Playing some nice stuff.
At some point Wrexham will wake up though. Probably.
Impressed with the Liverpool kids so far tbf. The number 83 at the back looks a real prospect
Fuck me how narrow is that pitch?!??
Wrexham really should be winning this game tbf.
