A tarot card with a strong confident woman, dark witchy vibes, and a bear?! Count me in!! Excited to share my STRENGTH major arcana artwork for Clare Edge's indie preorder campaign for her speculative thriller novel, NATURAL SELECTION 🩷🐻

Illustration of the Strength major arcana tarot card featuring a woman with brown hair, white blouse, and blue skirt, staring confidently down at the viewer, with her hand resting on a giant bear's head. Behind them is a dark pine forest and a red moon. The grass glows underneath their feet. The palette is saturated with magentas, blues, and mint greens and uses graphic shapes and bold brushtrokes. The overall vibe is dark, occult, and witchy, yet modern. This bookish artwork is for an upcoming speculative thriller novel, Natural Selection.

"Hope, inspiration, positivity, faith, renewal, purpose" - The Star (XVII) Got suddenly inspired to paint more tarot cards, so here's my visual interpretation of this rejuvenating Rider-Waite major arcana!⭐️🌌 (Also... new tarot business cards featuring this illustration? 👀 Perhaps with embossing?)

Interpretation of The Star tarot card depicting a woman with black hair pouring water from both hands. The galaxy and stars swirl in her hair. Rose gold stars float behind her, and two pour water into her hands.

From her hands, the woman pours water from the stars into the lake, representing her spiritual abilities and intuition. The other hand pours into the land, representing her practical abilities and common sense. The woman nourishes both aspects of her mind and body. Behind her shines one large star, symbolizing her core essences, and seven smaller stars, depicting the chakras.

The illustration is done in a stylized, semi-realistic style with loose brushstrokes and blue, purple, and rose gold colors. This artwork style is suitable for books, publishing, board game art, and tarot card art.
