First Lobstar, then Hitokuchi, then Yocchan All « randoms » who made it big in the competitive scene by just dominating X Rank so hard that they sparked interest, and forced people to respect them. And that’s only blaster players that I follow closely but it happens so fast and to almost everyone.

The more I play/watch the game the more sure I am that the game is completelyyyyy out of balance right now. The game has had worst states but it seems some things are a bit broken and others are left in the dust. It wouldn’t really surprise me if the meta revolves around something that is sorta 1/?

So I’ve made a difficult decision but I’m quitting comp splatoon and splatoon in general the way that I play was built for games like overwatch where fights are longer and take more time so I’ll be there but in the background and not as active in the comp community

Players need to be less demotivated after a loss as well comms will go quiet when that should neverrrr happen. I find it odd that comms go up when you're winning when it should be the opposite way around idk. This is just general things I noticed let's see if I'll see more in the future

It's super important that you guys experiment with your play styles and add more layers to it, players will lose 7 games in a row vs similar level players and no adaptation was made into it was vocalized there needs to be more agency!

Gonna share my knowledge after playing with 30+ mid level tryouts Most players are really good at one playstyle only, special spamming, jumping out, sharking etc. But once that one thing they do stops working it's like they are shut down for the rest of the game #compsplatoon

Overall unless dynamo + bow/rapid is v strong I don't see the meta itself changing 2 much, but the game as a whole feels a lot more refreshed and fluid, its just more fun to play and feels like timing when you attack is more important.
