I keep thinking about this picture of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya from yesterday during a court hearing. He has remained in Israeli custody since this abduction from Gaza in December 2024.

No one is illegal on stolen land. There are no borders in healthcare. Healthcare should never depend on status. Human rights including the right to access healthcare ought to be a human right for all people on this land, without exception or preconditions.
