This is huge - it’s Augusta is a small township in Michigan outside Kalamazoo. They wanted to rezone agricultural land to make way for a data center and the folks who lived there voted it down by referendum.

The state and local results in purple and red regions last night is eye opening. NO votes winning for data centers, eliminating state income tax, direct election of state Supreme Court justices.

They also renewed a sales tax to keep state parks free. And Kansas City approved a package of $1.7 billion of bonds for infrastracture.

This is what’s so clownish. You had conservatives rallying around female athletes in these lawsuits against transgender student participation in sports and now they’re coming after Title IX. Here come the leopards…

Hey so two weeks ago they shut down the freeway near my house for hours bc a guy threatened to jump off the overpass and yesterday ANOTHER guy threatened to do it off a different freeway sign so they shut down the freeway again like folks are not okay y’all.
