Red Underwing was new for year last night. An attractive Vestal was the reddest one I've seen. 3 more Scarce Silver-lines suggests a significant second generation, and a fresh Swallow-tailed Moth escaped the Skinner trap before I could grab a photo. S.Yorks. #TeamMoth @bcyorkshire.bsky.social

A long trek across Thorne and Crowle Moors in search of Dune Helleborines and Round-leaved Sundews produced a few plants. Sundews were few and far between. Surprised to see mountain bikers along the delicate paths.
