Pretty sure the chumps are going to get their way, at least for now. Going to take at least another election cycle or two to get rid of this corrupt leadership. Both Schumer (AOC) and Jeffries (who knows) will face primary opponents in '28.

YouTubers who follow Russia are saying CIA Dir Ratcliff's weird visit to Moscow was to warn the Kremlin of its imminent economic collapse and that Putin refused to take the meeting after he was told what the visit was about. Take it with a grain of salt, but this would be fucking hilarious if true.

It probably won't work, but there is a 100-percent chance that Trump is going to try anything he can think of -- including state violence -- to protect himself. I don't know what shape this will take, but I can guarantee you it's coming.

State and local officials have an obligation to take the general issue of potential threats to elections seriously, but none of the rest of us need to treat "seize ballots, start a civil war" as if it has even a remote likelihood of occurring.
