Felt like I made great progress this week but hit some road likes on Friday and didn’t finish the week strong. Going to spend the weekend not thinking about work and hit it hard on Monday. 2 weeks of crunch to go!

Managed to clear about 30 items off my “To Fix” list at our new building today. I think 4 more classroom spaces I need to complete than a handful of conference spaces. I’m tired but happy to be making progress!
2 days of work unboxing, setting up and labeling 86 AVoIP endpoints for a project. I’m so glad I wrote my own setup script so I didn’t have to do the setup by hand!
I’d advertise 3d sculpts again but idk how interested people still are in these as none have sold yet. I could maybe knock down the prices a bit more and see. Or just maybe advertise the 2d comms I have the most fun with
T-3 weeks till classes start, still a boatload of work to get done. This year it seems like the small projects are eating us up more than the large building completion project. But we will prevail!

We’re deep in our crunch time at work. The worst part is, even though the work is constant, success and completion isn’t that gratifying. Sure I get to scratch it off a todo list, but theres nothing really juicy I’m accomplishing.
I hate to bitch about this since I’m so grateful for the opportunities i do get. I just wish I could enjoy grindr or hookups to scratch the itch but I got a small demi streak in me 🫠

I finished the 11 lecterns I’ve been building for the new building on campus! Now starts the configuration and turn up process, but the physical labor part is over!
Today’s random A/V toolbag addition: A Leather hole punch. It makes perfect clean holes in hook and loop tape that I can then run a rack screw through and do wire management right on rack rails!
Couldn’t figure out why this particular week feels so long and dragging, then I realized this is the first full normal work week I’ve worked since the first week of June. 😅
