Fun facts! Ryu’s back! “Does he know Toni’s legs are cursed?” Yes. I thought it’d be fine once I got the placement of the whole group right, but it wasn’t, and I didn’t want to set up a reshoot. I got out 11 figs total but the street would only fit the group of six I shot first.

I might have to get me that Optimus. See, my problem with the Costume Kids is that my ultimate Costume Kid doesn’t exist. Because my false memory is of a Spider-Man costume with a picture of Spider-Man on it and the comic Amazing logo, and if that ever existed it’s not what Ben Cooper did.

Filled out the primary ballot yesterday and realized my tiebreaker changed again. Ideology is still the most important, but over the decades I’ve gone from “experience” to “diversity” to now, as the tie-breaker, “anti-incumbency”. Having these jobs, being part of this system? It cooks your brain.

Been craving some crispy chicken for days now so I made tendies* - flour, egg, Sourdough Panko, shallow-fried. These are the leftover ones. *technically long breast slices not tenderloins but I wasn’t gonna call them breasties was I?
Fun fact! I do have plans to turn the front of this box (or the Spidey box) into a freestanding foreground at some point but right now I just have the box digital. I will always erase the logo on the top dial tho. Other than that, it’s practical - that pseudo-Pit backdrop comes with it.

It’s fresh corn season in the farm box. Kimchi loves corn tassels more than life itself. She has to keep being ejected from the fridge and is NOT happy about it. So I found a frame in the live photo where her tongue is out for revenge.
Fun fact! I didn’t do The Obvious Thing you can do with 2/3 of this 3-pack because I did it way back in ‘24 when I got the first Albano. I used Zarana as the stand-in for obvious reasons.

Fun fact! Bluey is on A LOT in our late middle age, childless household because it’s absolutely a soothing balm for the Possible End Times. One of the nice things about still having cable is you can just flip to one of the Disney Kids channels and it serves up eps for you for hours.

Every time I get out the Outrunners toys FOR REASONS I have to remind myself “Turbo has the beard”. I try to leave the TURBO headband on one of the Turbo heads to remind me but it doesn’t always stay on in the special Outrunners/Castle baggie.

Finally saw Masters of the Universe. Making a MOTU movie is basically deciding to take a stroll through a lawn full of rakes. The goal is to step on as few as you can manage. They did an admirable job and missed… a lot of them.
