It’s performance feminism with merch. And that’s fine—brilliant even.

The real showgirls—the online performers, the self-made models, the ones selling presence, intimacy, and image—massively outnumber the ones on Vegas stages or pop tours. We’re the majority.

It’s that it’s not our showgirl. It’s the mainstream one—the sanitized kind.

Every so often the term “sex worker” pops up. But it’s not really a durable progressive concept. If prostitutes are just workers then men who pay them for sex are just consumers.
