I haven't posted this one much since I painted it. I wanted to capture the feeling of the summer that this was painted in - here it was cool and rainy and I remember the hydrangeas were so full and alive. I wanted to try to recreate it so I could hold it forever.

NEW ART ALERT! 🌸 I really enjoyed painting this one, I hope you enjoy it too!
Saw this and wanted to comment. I think it's a really interesting conversation to have and would be very interested in all your opinions (although I'm not going to engage in any arguments with anybody) Mildly altered screenshot to show my whole comment as the bottom cut off.

I painted this a while ago, but I still think it holds the emotional weight of what I was feeling at the time. How do you interpret it?

Whenever all the plants start coming out and everything feels alive, I think of this painting I made a while ago 🌱
Tracing is also really standard. Especially to get structure down. Especially if its your own reference. I know so many professionals who trace to get the work done.
I can't believe we're going back to this kind of discourse but: Using references isn't cheating Using 3D mannequins and photo references is STANDARD, even for professional artists Shaming people and pushing them to draw exclusively from memory is harmful and can set back people who are learning
Still one of my favourite paintings. Inspired by the hollyhocks in my old garden. I've since moved, but I still think about those flowers.

A bunch of studies I did a few years ago when I couldn't paint
Overwatch character design challenge; Make a female character that's monstrous/gross/ugly but still cool (see Roadhog) without making her an old lady.
Some ethereal women I painted in the last few years ✨ which one is your favourite?
Seriously - recently down to £30 in my account and someone bought a few prints and literally saved me.
if you have bought art/commissions/goodies from or reposted stuff from artists in the last few months you are all our hero for real thank you for real 😭 it matters so much
Another painting I did a while back, this one is about the multiple masks we wear for different people and situations and how it's hard to know your true self - at least it is for me sometimes
Two of my favourite autumnal themed paintings I have done over the years. One is about letting go, the other is about feeling overwhelmed 🍂
If you haven't seen it yet, I made a new video about achieving your dreams both as an artist and in general🌸I hope you enjoy it! (find it below)
Some blue aesthetic inspiration. I'd love to see if any of you make a painting smashing all (or some) of these things together
Working on a new painting 🌸 It's so nice to have something relaxing to work on I'll be showing the WIPs and full process for this over on Patreon as I work on it! ✨
