This is Trick! His background sprite animations and foreground character sprites were based on one of our cats. Tricks sprites use a special UI frame to convey a difference in relative scale compared to human characters! #yttd #キミガシネ

Happy birthday Nao Egokoro! #yttd #キミガシネ

With both visual representation and dialogue writing, a major goal has been depicting the characters unique personalities and presentation in ways which feel distinctly them! #yttd #キミガシネ

(1/9) #yttd #キミガシネ In game development, things taking longer isn't always an indication of something bad. In our case, it's largely been a result of wanting to make everything as good as it can possibly be! When you love a project,

Your Turn To Thrive has over 400 hand painted texture layers which are overlayed together & filtered to make the abstract backgrounds unique to each CG! A variety of mediums such as acrylic, watercolor, and oil paint were used to create a wide range of expressive textures. 🎨 #yttd #キミガシネ

After 2 years of development, we’re very excited to release a single scene showcase for Your Turn to Thrive! You can play it in browser on itchio, download it (Windows and Mac versions available), or watch the full scene here. #yttd #キミガシネ

For Nao's birthday, we wanted to show some of what the UI, backgrounds, and character sprites will look like during gameplay! #yttd #キミガシネ

Courage in Tragedy is our first public part of the OST, combining Day of Tragedy and Step of Courage. YTTD primarily uses GarageBand loops and for YTTT we did the same for many of our tracks. Full track on YouTube: www.youtube.com/@YourTurnToThrive #yttt #yttd #visualnovel #vn #gamedev #indiedev

🧵 In addition to mental health and trauma recovery, a major underlying theme of Your Turn To Thrive is queer liberation. The project itself started with a series of essays which used Your Turn To Die as a framework for exploring these themes. #YTTT #YTTD #visualnovel #vn #queer #trans #lgbtq

Our goal with YTTT's backgrounds is a pixel art look similar to Your Turn To Die but with the ability to display even small objects in enough detail for our environmental point and click elements similar to AI The Somnium Files!! #YTTT #YTTD #visualnovel #vndev #gamedev #indiedev

YTTT is a VN and stage play sequel to #YTTD taking place 6 months after massacre ending with Nao as the protagonist. Her and Sara start over in a new environment as they continue recovering from the death game, forming new bonds of mutual support, and unraveling the mystery of their new home.
