There is no comprehensive source for fashion history in Singapore but luckily all the men i see in photos from the 50s are dressed in short shirts and pants, thank you to my country for keeping everyone's clothes consistent for 61 years I guess

Functionally, Rhapsody is 2 abilities. 1, Creating sound with magic. 2, Controlling mana with sound. The Zaleos family all sport the same tuning fork-shaped tail (and an arrow points said tail) that aids in doing one ability or the other and are divided as such: Type A. By vibrating their tails, they can turn mana into sound. Ranging from small pops-" and it features small popping effects around a demon while Free stands nearby, "to deafening cracks of thunder" and it has a huge onomatopoeia of "BOOM!" right next to the demon's face, making their ears bleed, while Free is facing away and plugging his ears with his fingers.

The user is able to play music to control mana with sound, buffing/debuffing their allies and enemies. The exact effect depends on the type of sound being played. The music lines flow in the background and flows to the side to form a separator between placeholder demons. "The songs they play fill the air with musical notes! An ally might cast spells easier. An enemy might feel lethargic. "The better the user plays OR if they play a type of music preferred by the target, the stronger the effect. "Inexperienced type B and C users cannot pick why they're buffing/debuffing" and it features the opposite effects on an ally and enemy.

"They are able to grab and use the musical notes as if they are physical. If they want to produce a specific sound, an instrument would form for them. "

The text is as such: "Naturally, the abolity doesn't work in a vacuum or if they can't produce sound. " Example, Free is placed in the silencing cube, totally not the sopping wet creature jail, and is very confused about it while a demon outside has a hand near their ear and couldn't hear anything. "The greater their ability, the more sensitive they are to sound and to mana. Headaches are common, but nausea can occur in extreme cases. "A drawing of Free on the left shows that he's plugging his ears, feeling dizzy and nauseous. "If the target they're trying to influence has stronger mana, it's harder to manipulate. The recoil can leave them temporarily deaf. " and it shows this visual of the backfire that makes Free's ears ring. It also shows a crooked tail since it's said that "damaging the tail also makes it much more difficult to use their ability! " There is a section for a side note, saying how "while the ability constantly makes the user want to break into song, musical talent is not guaranteed. " It features a placeholder Zaleos demon struggling to play the piano while Free looks over with slight concern.
