- Quartz soldier made to protect and serve Tori but shortly after Tori emerged, his makers realised how awful he was at his job so he was sent away for reprogramming - Shortly before he returned, Tori (then alone) foresaw that a scary quartz fighter was "coming for him"
- When Yuzuru returned, he found a terrified Tori and shapeshifted into a less intimidating form. Since that day, he lives as Tori's "pearl". Only Tori and Ibara know he's actually a quartz
- Ibara finds his new body "an insult to everything he was made to be". Yuzuru disagrees, saying this is exactly what he was made for but sometimes he struggles to keep his form
