NEW RESEARCH🟣The DWP spends £350 million/y on private contractors for PIP assessments. But, 74% of planned PIP award reviews end with NO CHANGE to entitlement.

A study by the anti-poverty charity @z2ktrust.bsky.social has found the DWP are frequently reviewing Pip awards for people whose condition is unlikely or impossible to change, “wasting” public money and “significantly harming” the mental and physical health of claimants.
