It’s been a long and wild month. And an even longer and wilder week of launching. I’m exhausted. Taking some time with the family to try to reset a bit so we can come back strong and focused and continue this marathon. Grateful for all the love and support.

I help people with deep industry knowledge build the tools they've always wanted. Recent projects include: EventuallyTicketing.com AugustaPlanner.com justsendit.email rails.market susanssudoku.com
Today has been phenomonal. Even with bs throttling and gate keeping from PH, we had an absolutely monster day of outpouring from friends and supporters. I couldn’t have imagined. I am beyond grateful for all the love. This thing might actually make it. @eventuallyticketing.com is now.
There are obviously a ton of amazing tools that have helped us build Eventually, but I want to call out one especially: @briancasel.com Builder Methods. The community, the videos, the workshops, but especially the tools that Brian shares have all been extremely crucial for us.
Welp. @eventuallyticketing.com is launching on producthunt.com today. We’ll see if anyone likes it or finds it interesting.

I'm a big fan of getting as many of our favorite people together in a room and having a good time. We did it 9 years ago with our wedding in Iceland. And we just did it again with our @eventuallyticketing.com launch parties.
Getting ready for a product hunt launch later this week... trying to get all the @eventuallyticketing.com socials in order. For any that might be interested... instagram.com/eventuallyticketing x.com/eventuallytckts linkedin.com/company/eventually-ticketing
Oh shit! This is getting real! Kelsey and I just recorded founder intro videos and walkthrough content for our EventuallyTicketing.com product hunt launch in a few weeks.
After getting our first monthly customer last month (via a recommendation from Claude), today we got our first yearly subscriber! Think we need to set up an automated bell ringer. :)
I was very close to scrapping my Microconf trip with the family today. Just felt too much with a baby with a fever and running on 2 hours sleep. Grateful for @bykelseygk.com pushing us to still go. Because we can do hard things.
I just can't get enough of how amazingly kind and supportive everyone involved in Artemis II is.
Chrome: I have never once wanted to have split screens. I just want to move/reorder the tab. Please stop trying to make split screens happen.
I’m not a huge gamer. But the original NES gold cartridge Zelda was the one game I grinded on hard until I beat it as a kid. Played a few others, but over the last two weeks I’ve finally started to play Breathe of the Wild with my wife and 4.5yo. When this series hits, it fucking hits.
We're coming up on 40 years of The Legend of Zelda series, so we have to ask: What are your Top 3 favorite Zelda games?
I've always struggled with time tracking. I forget to start/stop timers, I'm bouncing between so many projects that it's impossible to properly do without breaking flow. So I created an automatic tracker based on which desktop I'm in using Hammerspoon. It's still earlier but I'm very excited.
As one of the early members of @justinjackson.ca's Marketing for Developers (marketingfordevelopers.com) community, I've already received a ton of amazing feedback from him. Can't believe more people aren't jumping on this. Such an insane value.

I’m a big believer that you vote with your dollars and you do your best to support the people and projects that you want to see more of in the world. I bought the initial version and buying the membership for the update was a no brainer for my business(es). One new sale and it pays for itself.
Update: the first version of the new M4Devs site is up! marketingfordevelopers.com

Out of curiosity… Are people still doing /now pages? If you are, how often do you update yours? And is there a historical record for older versions? Way to track (rss)?

Did you know you can still take advantage of the August Rule even if you already take a home office deduction? You just need to adjust your property’s market rate to exclude the deducted home office (most likely ~10%). Is one better than the other? Nope. Why not both?

Just a friendly reminder... If you have a profitable US-based S-Corp, C-Corp, or partnership business and own your home, it's not too late to take advantage of the Augusta Rule for 2025 and save some money. You've got to do your year-end planning regardless. AugustaPlanner.com

Aaron's videos are top-tier. If you're a programmer looking to improve your understanding of how databases work, I highly recommend @aaronfrancis.com and Database School! databaseschool.com (it's on sale on right now too 👍)
In hind sight... I probably shouldn't have started building a new company the same week we introduced a new baby into the world. But I can't help it. I think this needs to exist in the world. Also... kids are expensive.
First time back at my happy place since we were too pregnant to travel (June or so). The 4yo really wanted some hot chocolate after we did some chores around the yard.
Logged my 307th show on concerts.zackgilbert.com tonight: Of Monsters and Men at The Salt Shed. Our 8th time seeing them. They were our first date.

Rails friends: I’m looking for a document signing api that I can easily integrate with. What do people recommend?
This is the first time in forever that I've actually been annoyed by having multiple other projects that I need to work on and really wish I only had the one. Feels like it might be something.
First Google Nest, now Belkin Wemo being decommissioned. Love needing to completely swap out half of my house’s switches and plugs by the end of the year. What brand is the safest to switch to?
