WaPo reports Louisiana’s governor will announce on Friday that he is suspending the House primaries where people have already started voting and redraw the map; I’d expect them to go for an all-Republican map and eliminate both majority-Black districts, not just one.

I am all for regulating big tech and coming down hard on them for the way they’ve built addicting apps and devices. Requiring operating systems to have age verification built in is not the way to do it. Please @govpritzker.illinois.gov @annecaprara.bsky.social talk to some Linux admins about this.

Social media companies have shown us they won't step up, so Illinois is stepping in. It's time to pass the Children's Social Media Safety Act.

Just cancelled HBO Max. Made sure to make it very clear Ellison is the reason I cancelled and that I won’t watch anything he’s involved with. On the bright side, it’s easier to not watch entire platforms than to figure out which production companies were involved.

Welp, I’ve officially entered the “writing state level republican reps begging them to please do anything about Trump’s Greenland obsession before he destroys our ability to have any meaningful allies for the rest of our lifetimes” stage of my life. Didn’t have that one on my bingo card.

Why are the Illinois State Police & local police protecting a facility that doesn’t give people adequate access to food, water, bedding, clothing, hygiene, medicine, religion, or legal representation @annecaprara.bsky.social and @govpritzker.illinois.gov? They should be protecting human rights!

I wanted to share probably the most important sermon I’ve given and it’s while I’m being arrested. It’s torture pure and simple what happens at #Broadview. I’m ok, though I was thrown to the ground and choked with my pectoral cross. A review of the video shows I was peaceful - did I deserve this?

What we just watched from the Oval Office was wrong and shameful. Putin invaded Ukraine. The US should be leading the defense of democracy around the world not siding with a dictator. I just called my representative and encourage everyone to do the same.
