Woof, yeah definitely tightening up the resume just in case. The stuff I'm hearing through the grapevine at work has me side eyeing the company a ton and I refuse to be caught unaware should things go that way. (Thankfully no danger now, but just not taking chances in this hellscape)

I really wanna work on my shape language with my sketches more. A lot of them share such similar body shapes and has me feeling my sketches are very "samey" lol XP
My copy of Orville Peck's new album vinyl came in last week and I finally had a chance to give it a listen today and its immaculate. It's been so long since I've enjoyed a country album this much and this fully. Reminds me of all the good old country I remember listening to when I was little.
Dear giant house spiders of the Pacific Northwest. Fuck you. That is all. (Keep getting jump scared by them skittering past me on the sidewalk at mach frikken 10 when I'm walking the puppy in the evening and I always forget just how MASSIVE those bastards are)
Honestly I love these sorta things so why not? There's so many that are near and dear to me but these standout as ones that really left lasting impacts.
Love a good Bandwagon. 9 games that shaped who I am. Final Fantasy 9: This was my first JRPG. I was 9yo and this game was surprisingly mature,it laid a good foundation for my moral compass and addressed many existential questions that I would encounter in adolescence. (Source: my9games.net/en )
God DAMN. My second to last statue that I had on preorder arrived a week & a half back and I finally had a chance to take him out of the box today. I think Wargreyman and Weregarurumon were two of my earliest "furry" crushes that I actively remember having and I think definitely influenced a lot xP
Beat Onimusha: Way of the Sword, I desperately need a sequel cuz holy shit that was immaculate and so good. That was probably the most fun I had with a combat system in an action game in a while, not to mention how fantastically the characters were all written. Loved every one of them.
Urge to draw... rising. Need to get out of work to draw. Please. Let me draw. I don't wanna deal with the hell that is work right now XP
I'm so proud of my shiba, she had her first dog sitter experience for PAX West and had the best time. The sitter couldn't stop singing her praises every pickup about how social she was with all the other dogs and her.
Everyone should go give my little brother @deriaz.bsky.social the best of birthday wishes today. You should also give my buddy @itomaisfuzzy.bsky.social birthday wishes as well. Two awesome beans having their birthday on the same day <3
Okay I understand the appeal of Drag'N Wash. >.> Why must they all be so good, I want them all. Wheres my poly option game!?
Ugh definitely caught some sort of bug at pax. COVID test last night came back negative so that's good at least x.x
Don't mind me just riding the adrenaline rush of meeting Ben Starr at Pax West just now and successfully fighting off my anxiety to do it.
Watching a friend finish a challenge run of FF9 has me so nostalgic for that games soundtrack. Melodies of Life holds such a strong place in my heart all these years later.
Im glad I made a good choice of dog sitter. My little girl was so excited to see her this morning after a fun day yesterday. Really puts my mind at ease knowing she's well looked after
First day of pax is in the bag~ had a lot of fun. Grabbed some good stuff, got to play a demo for a multiplayer game I didn't expect to see there, scoped everything out so I know what I wanna prioritize tomorrow. All in all a good day
In a less bleh headspace, I found out Orville Peck has a new album comin out in September and I'm already obsessed with the 2 songs he's put out ahead of it. Especially "Already Gone". It's just so raw and reminds me of the older country songs that I loved growing up www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCtl...

The one thing I hate the morning after having a good night like yesterday at the bar is I can mentally feel the mental walls crushing me back into place to hide any level of vulnerability and making me feel embarrassed for the "slip up" =_=
Woof that was a good bar night, I needed that after the last month or two of nonstop work stress
I wish it didn't require like two or three old fashioneds for me to let loose and. GR my proper uninhibited self.bao many hot friends at CCs furry night and its only after multiple bouts of alcohol that I can let my proper self out and my need to make out fulfilled.
I definitely think my mini painting is improving bit by bit. Really happy with how this Barret mini came out. Still needs to add some flocking like fake grass in the stone crevices but aside from that its come out super good and made me happy :D
Finally got around to reading Tower Dungeon volume 4 and 5 and I'm loving this manga more and more. I'm practically foaming at the mouth for November to get here for volume 6 to come out in English. The world building and characters are just.. SO good and endearing. I love this motley crew of dorks.
Workin on world building an idea I've had. I wanna spin off in some way either into SOMETHING. But I really suck at knowing the minutia of what I need to develop to make it feel fleshed out. Know good in depth world building guides that help with, building out governments, magic systems, etc?
Finding out the palworld card game is coming out end of the month... May have preordered a booster box just to dabble xP
I'll be honest, I've been struggling mentally recently due to lack of my ADHD meds that cascading into forgetting to take other meds. Really makes me realize how fragile things can be when I'm feeling overwhelmed
Was really happy with my haul at the retro game store yesterday. Found an Ocarina of Time cart and a reproduction cart of an English version of Shin Megami Tensei If for the SNES. Plus a really cute Lugia plush (favorite legendary <3).
