I've just about had it with generative AI when I see numerous, creative friends of mine just start to struggle with confidence with more gen AI shit coming out, or seeing friends play that Aniimo-slop game. I don't want to see anyone with even an ounce of genuine creativity feel like the things
I'm just gonna say it, but it fucking SUCKS being a streamer with such stubborn and strong morals because unless I have no clue, I refuse to concede and play games using / promoting / flooding with GenAi. I'm so tired of seeing folks give in and act like they're Anti-AI but won't quit games with it.
Isn't asset ripping, stealing, reverse-engineering, or extraction against VRChat's TOS? Why are they promoting work that uses tools that only exist because they did exactly that?

Genuinely disappointed in people who know this game has generative AI in it and still play it, man.

I was part of the Creator Club for Aniimo's 2nd Closed Beta test. Despite the team's claims, there is Generative AI throughout the game and in promotional material. (1/2) #aniimo
Just a reminder. You can't say you're opposed to generative ai being used for creative assets in games. While at the same time knowingly playing games that use generative ai to make creative assets. It's one or the other.
I going to just assume that many people have just not been getting the info on their timeline about it, but if you have a no Gen AI stance, stop playing Aniimo it's riddled with it and it does NOT disclose that on Steam Gen AI Gatcha slop
I just read through it and from what I could gather, they actually taken in some feedback. For the most part, they're going to implement it to where it doesn't require selfies or ID cards. This isn't something to cause any of y'all to nuke your Discord accounts or go into mass hysteria.
