I think everyone must see this and realize two things: 1) DLSS 5 is the bane of modern gaming and must be banned out of existence at once. 2) If you think you want a photorealistic Final Fantasy... Trust me, you don't.

My best friend got bored of VII the day VIII was released, so he lent it to me. That's how it all started. Every week or so, we would swap both games, so they both turned out to be my first FF simultaneously. I miss those days. And I miss you, Chris. You would have loved what this series has become.

Wait until they hear about LAN parties as a concept. We'd bring our big ass PC cases and 80lbs CRT monitors to someone's place, just to play games all together for the whole night. I actually miss doing that. Ironically it would be so much easier to setup now, with WiFi networks and laptops.

It's very anticlimactic that the 1K bar was reached with probably a bot 😂 I'll take the occasion anyway to say this: I've never felt at ease with social networks. It's all kinda new to me, and my postings are very inconsistent and I never thought anyone would care. Thank you for proving me wrong.

I miss my dear girl for the International Cat Day. Thankfully, the cat distribution system has been letting me share this big fellow with my neighbor. He's started to visit me more regularly since my precious kitty is gone, and he's so big, he's half made of love for him to share. 💖

When the Switch 2 gets its own price increase in September, there won't remain any current console under the 500€ price tag anymore in the market. No wonder kids these days are sticking with Roblox on a second-hand phone and play pretty much nothing else. It's all they can afford in this economy.

This whole Sony and PS5 discs situation would be much easier to accept if we had at least the ability to create legal game backups, exactly like Steam. Let me export DRM-enabled games with my licence key to an external USB drive; then those who want to hold a physical disc could burn that to a BD-R.
"Why don't you work on a side project/help us with our indie game?" Assuming I've even got time and energy left for it, I am not allowed to, unless it's clearly not a video game. It's explicitly stated in my job contract. It's legal, enforceable and has been the industry standard since forever.
