An exciting pakige arrived today! I've used these plant pot saucers to hold my papercrafts in progress for yeeears because they stack just right and don't get staticky. I realized I needed more... and discovered the company still exists, and makes the same line of saucers! hooray hooray!

i've managed to master walking up stairs in a long skirt 1) without holding the hem up and 2) without spilling a full mug of hot tea, i feel very powerful

played the big walk with friends this evening! it's the first pc game I've played in yeeeears and aside from how charming it was my biggest takeaway is that i am forever pining for the N64 controller...

I'm afraid the only adaptation of the Odyssey for me is the times in elementary school where they took us to the library to sit in a circle while an old lady recounted the story to us. I still remember her miming Odysseus exhaustedly heaving himself up the beach on Phaeacia.

Been a long day. Zucchini, widely known as The World's Most Perfect Boy, is unfortunately also A Dickensian Orphan With Every Disorder. He had a pretty bad asthmatic episode today, so we spent our day off taking him to the vet hospital. He's doing ok but has to stay overnight in an oxygen tank. ;0;
