That Valks-Wings game was one of the best I’ve seen in person in a long career. Ballhalla made a difference.
End of the Valkyries-Wings game. Crowd erupts. Valkyries advance to the semis in their second season. Wings eliminated. Watch Paige and Alysha. This is essence of the WNBA. Fierce competitors, but a sisterhood too.
*whispers* New York already took an L for not wearing seafoam.
I’m just laughing that Veronica still managed to get 4 assists in a quarter having played only 4 minutes. Whew.

The NBA and NBPA should be showing solidarity with the WNBA players by condemning Royce White and Enes Kanter Freedom.
Kate Starbird@katestarbird.bsky.social · 2mo agoThe WNBA Player’s Association issued an excellent (imo) statement yesterday, stressing the league’s values and stating that they won’t be used as political pawns. The league and its individual teams might want to reach out to whoever is doing comms for the WNBPA. Just sayin.
I know there’s a whole game going on, but the former partnerships executive in me is wondering how that Tide on court logo got approved for TV. It is BRIGHT.
🧵 on this post & our recent No Offseason pod segment: I did not realize how this was being interpreted and appreciate the callouts. I am deeply sorry that I came off as centrist, which is FAR from where I stand on the matter. But I won’t be deleting this suggestion. I’ll explain. 1/10

COMICALLY LAUGHING at the end of this GSV PHX game. Janelle got fouled on end of game 3s…TWICE?

Give it time. Seattle about to start to do what Washington is doing—taking down these top teams. Washington now has wins over Vegas, Golden State, and Minnesota. Seattle’s play against Indiana and Minnesota recently has shown me a lot…I’m keeping my eye on them the second half of the season.
Prayers up for Sarah Ashlee Barker. That looked gruesome. 😔

This was one of the best parts of the game for me. Even though Miles wasn’t great from the field, her & KMac’s shot attempts didn’t drop with Phee back out there.
Ali Abbasi@aliabcsh.bsky.social · 3mo agohow do you think her fit will be with olivia miles? optimistic?
with the 3-point contest selections, three teams are still without an All-Star representative: Connecticut, Phoenix and hometown Chicago
Social media is finally giving Sydney Taylor the love she deserves. She’s been HOOPING, and the whole league is starting to take notice. Love to see it! 🥹🔥 #ChicagoSky #WNBA
