Someone explains this relatively well, but I want to add that MOST of the people who get shut down like this were just caught using F&F to dodge the seller fees, which is against TOS. Art and other commission-based work is and always has been allowed on PayPal. bsky.app/profile/huld...

This is extremely misleading! Stop spreading rumors that are only going to get people in MORE trouble! If you mention commissions while using FRIENDS AND FAMILY, you will get banned for dodging fees and taxes. YOU WILL NOT GET IN TROUBLE JUST FOR USING THE WORD COMMISSION!!!

I've been using PayPal invoices for years, mentioning the word "commission" and have had no problems. The issue arises when you do business by making people pay via Friends & Family. Please stop spreading misinformation.

it is so terrifying to get involved with someone who gets obsessed with you and the second they get rejected they turn on you violently, this is why i have extremely hard time trusting people. it's somehow always some bizarre obsession that leads to contempt immediately
