Random thought from that last thread, do people still matchmake for their friends? Like do you have someone in your friend group that if you said "Hmm I just wanna go on a date and meet someone" or smth like that, is there someone that would chomp at the bit to get them with someone?

I've found people have really weird ideas about dating. I'm of the idea that if you meet someone you might have a bit of romantic interest in, just ask on a date and make it casual. Ideally if it goes well that window to date can be opened
