This Saturday, February 21st at 2PM PST/5PM EST, I'll be streaming the premiere of a new Ocarina of Time All Dungeons Low-A-Press run!
A cool new trick was found in OoT today to walk underwater (in very specific places)
One of the JP 1.0 OoT carts I have has a near-100% save file (19 hearts and 82 GS) from the original owner, so I decided to try and complete it 100%, and also learned a lot about how he played through the game. Here is としあき's scarecrows song played at the end of the credits
Cool Christmas gift I got, a Majora's Mask Not For Resale cart! It plays just like the release game, but still a really cool thing to have a rare cart like this.
In May, Twitch deleted 100K speedruns among millions of other videos. With the help of ArchiveTeam and @archive.org we saved these speedruns and 500K+ other popular Twitch videos. My search tool for viewing these archives is now live! archive.speedrun.club

Achieved my goal in All Dungeons, for the first time the AD record is faster than GSR (the next fastest category at 1:06:49) This run was actually super good but made 1 really bad mistake in spirit, I actually could have had a 1:05 lmao. But I'm satisfied with this.
PB'd by another full minute! My goal right now is to beat all dungeons faster than the next fastest category, GSR, which the record for right now is 1:06:49. Its very rare for a category normally considered longer to end up overtaking another category. So 15 seconds to go.
Implemented a harder but faster ending wrong warp to All Dungeons and managed to PB with it on the first day of using it
Another small PB, but at least its sub 1:10. Still want to cut 2 more minutes off.
The results for the N64 vs VC TASes for All Dungeons The N64 TAS is ~1 second faster using TAS timing (from power on to final input) The VC TAS is ~4 seconds faster using RTA timing (from first control to first frame of credits) insane how close these were
This Saturday at 1PM PST/4PM EST/8PM UTC, I'll be streaming the premiere of 2 new Ocarina of Time All Dungeons TASes by @pancaketurtle.com. One on the N64 route, and one on the VC route, to see which one is truly the fastest.
Started running All Dungeons again for the first time in 8 years with the new tricks, still derusting but got a few PBs already. This category should get under 1:10 easily.
A really cool new trick was found in OoT recently to Hookshot Jump all the way up Fire Temple and skip most of the dungeon up to Hammer. This saves over 2 minutes in categories that do Fire Temple and was one of the biggest tricks still left to find.
Trailer and schedule for #HeroesOfTime, a Zelda event I'll be at next week!
On Friday, #HeroesOfTime starts a new adventure, and we've got big news! Our new trailer reveals our Schedule, Merch, and our NEW Grand Prize system. Plus, you TOO can play Zelda this week and support the American Cancer Society as part of our Community of Champions! 🛡️ - hero.gives
There's one month left before twitch begins deleting highlights, make sure you back them up in time! I also highly encourage speedrun communities to set up their own archives for historical speedruns in your own game, or else a ton of speedrun history will be lost!
Its that time of year again. Next Friday, February 21st at 12:00 PM PST/3:00 PM EST/20:00 UTC, get ready for a brand new LOTAD And a bonus one the day after, February 22nd, at the same time. Trailer: www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvGE...

In NTSC 1.1, a niche interaction with Biris and Ice Arrows was patched. This interaction is not possible in normal gameplay. Imo, this implies that the original play testers were spawning into places with map select and trying random combinations, not worrying about story implications.
In NTSC 1.1, Attack Cuccos were changed to use invincibility frames instead of Link's "damaged" state flag. The state flag does not last as long, and can lead to a softlock if a cucco corners you.
