Ghrei lives in a pretty big place mostly all by herself, and ever since she was a kid she's spent a lot of time just alone with her thoughts. ( Ever since I saw this poem was put to music, it just really fit Ghrei and I had to doodle a little something ) 1/2 #oc #Ghrei #Mærrtefla

Halfway down the stairs is a stair that I sit, There isn't any other stair quite like it.I'm not at the bottom, I'm not at the top. So this is the stair where I always stop.Halfway up the stairs isn't up and isn't down, It isn't in the nursery, it isn't in the town. All sorts of funny thoughts run 'round my head, it really isn't any place, it's somewhere else instead...

Some everyday Ghreis~ Mærrteflaan claws are big, so special utensils are required. Ghrei cheers on Rüek as she works on a mentally taxing play. Ghrei has a very large garden she loves to tend, but on a warm day she might find herself taking an impromptu nap after. #oc #Ghrei #Rüek #Mærrtefla

Ghrei is very used to eating in solitude and in a somewhat dainty way ( how she was raised ). She has a fork utensil attached to her right index claw and a knife on her left. She's sitting at a table in a deep purple and whimsical background.Rüek is sitting at a table in front of a chess board, sweating as she ponders what move to make. Ghrei cheers her on from the side.A rare moment Ghrei isn't in her trademark dress, as she tends to one of the small fruit trees in her garden. Breaking it up a little today with a a family photo when Ghrei was a tiny bean. Her father Hoarie and mother Günemytl. Her mother was very strict and cold, spending most of her time doing nobility things. Ghrei spent more time with her dad, where she started to love gardening. #oc #Mærrtefla #Ghrei

Ghrei's mother and father in color! One of the rare occasions her mother did something together with them. It was probably her idea even, but not out of a loving desire, just... documentation.And of course, in *greyscale*

Nothing new today, so doodle of Ghrei being sleppy. Ghrei deals with insomnia every so often, which... gives her about a good week of lethargy. She usually only has to deal with it every couple months, but sometimes its even more often than that. #oc #Ghrei #Mærrtefla

Doodles from the past few days. Some kind of gwompy goober named Braxie. She has four little gwomplets (not what they're called) that follow her around as cronies. Couldn't decide which photo i preferred, but friends said both looked nice for different reasons, so here's both. #oc #Braxie_Boun'da

Various doodles of Braxie. Just a pose, leading her little chudlings, having her mask crack > running away > tripping, getting shoved into a traesh can ( probably for causing mischief ), and her doing a poorly drawn/emphasized paunch.Second verse, same as the first, just less warm. Her palette is more clear in this.

Surprised I never posted this doggo. She was made around summer of last year, and again I think she came about by just playing with shapes. A bud has suggested her name be Jam. So going with: Jam B. O'Rhey That being said she's super into preserves and canning (wow!) #oc #Jam_B_O'Rhey #dog_oc

Just been sketching. Inspired by a bud's work, been having fun with this character. They called her the "Orbmaiden" once and its stuck in my head, and probably going to be their placeholder name for now at least. Scarlet the flower girl is her magic buddy. #oc #Orbmaiden #Scarlet

First doodle of the Orbmaiden. It didn't start in this theme but ended up unintentionally following one of 'what can i do with most everything made of circles, half circles, ellipsoids etc. He head is a sphere, hate brim a flat plane with a poker chip motif for the inlay and two baubles hanging from the star's legs. She's very round, goes without saying. She also has two floating sphere gloves with stripes claw fingers.Various doodles getting an idea of what she's about. Top left: Bouncing in her hat like a pogo stick. Top right: Rotating her legs like a helicopter kind of like Chun Li does, except her body here can spin independently 360 degrees. Bottom left: She got smacked by something and literally made her head spin. Center: She's skating on the spheres attacked to her feet. Bottom right: BUTTEMore stuff she can do. Mostly using her head and hands etc independently from her main body, including putting her had on one of her gloves as a makeshift 'stealth mode'. She is also astonished how huge her butt apparently is, giving an utterly shocked expression as her body tries to find where her head rolled to.The Orbmaiden doing more weird stuff. She has extended her claws to act like a tripod for her weird camera. Various expressions for funsies. Laying on her front with an 'oh hi' happy expression. Lastly she's showing off her buddy Scarlet, who had burst a bouquet from her arms and head is in full bloom. ( Yes I know roses don't have stamen like that, deal with it she's just a weird creature )

I've wanted a sona or something to represent myself for near-on a decade, but none ever really *fit* tbh, until very recently. I love birds, monsters, to sing, etc, so... a harpy finally felt right. It'll be nice, I'm happy at least. My hands hurt. #oc #Veli_the_harpy

A pencil drawing of Veli. Took... i don't know maybe 2-3ish hours? Was still finalizing some things. They have a long, feather-layered neck with black tips, a pale face with distinct markings, big eyes, peafowl like appendages hanging from their pointed ears, a fanned crest of feathers on their forehead, leading to a comet like trail leading from the back of their head. Their body is covered in softer speckled feathers, and two of their three clawed nails are visible from their folded up wings.Idea of Veli's full-body, something between a moa, raptor, and peafowl.Veli more outstretched to show off their talons and speckled feather pattern.A quick doodle of Veli's feathers in color.

Ngl kinda been feeling like I plateau'd as an artist. Not getting worse per se, but not really improving/getting any better. I do appreciate those encouraging comments I've gotten from time to time though. Means the world. Anyway, have a weird kitty(?) boy.
