This is some self-imposed wound on us. Internet discourse about Final Fantasy, at least in the west, fits into 3 buckets — People hate II, VIII, XIII — People love VI, VII, X And the last one? — I wish they would remake Final Fantasy ___ <insert favorite number> The monkey paw curls.
That's a really click-baity headline and they by no means are planning on remaking Final Fantasy 6 like this. However - they do say that if they were to remake titles such as 6, 8, 9, they would have to do it in "multiple installments" I worry this is how Square will treat FF going forward
