ok time to be courageous >:0 VOID ARCHIVE, a ffxiv fan project where y'shtola goes on a mini quest during the events of stormblood to uncover the secrets of mhachi void magic.

BildArchon Y'shtola is healing from a grievous wound. She should be abiding by the orders of Krile and Urianger to rest and recover. But she ruminates on that moment, as she dipped in and out of consciousness after being struck by the crown prince’s blade, where she glimpsed into Risk Phortuna’s aether. There was no doubt: the Scion's most important asset has been secretly practising void majicks. When did Risk obtain this power, and how? Since the aftermath of the Sixth Umbral Calamity, the practise of invoking voidsent had been outlawed. Mortals tempted by the allure of this overwhelming darkness were always doomed to an untimely end. Thus the light was good, and the darkness was evil. But Y'shtola believes that all arcane arts are capable of positive change… With the correct disciplines, of course. In order to save Risk from a potentially-gruesome fate, Y’shtola must prepare accordingly with the help of the knowledge from the past… and a few capable allies. VOID ARCHIVE is a creative fan project where Y’shtola Rhul investigates the lost history of voidsent magic between the main events of Stormblood. She is aided by the help of X’rhun Tia, a pilgriming Red Mage, and his disciple Arya, with the condition that her unique aetherial sight will solve an investigation relating to the same forbidden art.

♦️Alisaie in my universe finally got her growth spurt, she is now 23 years old (she/they) -Made her older -C+ lightly body and face -new haircut -outfit for cold weather (if needed), will make her another for milder climate later -Will update her if she comes to change her job during EC I love her

Still stand by this and I think the wol's comparative frailty/need for allies is the essence of most mainline FF games anyway.. that celebration of/need for fellowship. Except for ff16 where Clive is mostly a one man army but that game is more DMC than anything else (or is trying to be)

powerscalers in FFXIV are so funny. Like people get mad when the WoL loses a fight like 'urm the wol has killed primals and ascians and dragons, this guy shouldn't stand a chance' and I'm just.. Correction the wol+4-23 other people did that, you're not Omni-Man my guy.
