As a games journalist, I try to avoid saying “this game looks like this game plus this game” because it feels dismissive and kind of mean but holy shit I need some studios to start making games that don’t look like “this game plus this game”
The shareholders have the whole gaming industry by the balls so much that we're gonna be stuck with clones (and remakes) for years, because anything actually clever, original and not tied to any already successful franchise has like 95% chance to sink the whole company. #gamescom

A person at work, who I did not expect to remember my name actually called me by my name today. Such a seemingly trivial thing, but for me it is a rare, pleasant surprise to not be on a "Hey, you!" basis with someone I don't get to talk to daily.

I hate how social media ruined the concept of a proper debate. And we sure as heck need proper debates right now, instead of just loud people speaking into their echo chambers and leaving asap, because god forbid there's time and space for any counter-argument to be discussed.
The gun & car game having no disc, the greedy corpo announcing no more physical games right after - one so conveniently setting the stage for another... That's one villainous scheme, truly. Brings nothing but losses on consumers' end. Fuck Playstation, fuck Rockstar, and for good measure - fuck AI.
