I think I just figured out why AI and data centers are the avatar for the billionaires class. AI takes other people's creativity, knowledge, and analysis and repackages it as its own. It's an exploitation machine. AI is the perfect metaphor for labor exploitation.

Over on Gen X Facebook I see a lot of people talking about not carrying water bottles or thinking about hydration when we were kids. This is an artifact of Reagan era public squalor/private opulence. The private commoditization of natural resources and selling us stuff that used to be free.
I heard something yesterday that gave me chills: We are so divided that only swing voters matter and the truth is that most swing voters nowadays are low-information voters. If you can be persuaded at this point, its because you don't pay enough attention to have already formed an opinion.

Physical neglect is one of the most awful kinds of child welfare caaes. I have had several of these. It's not about poverty. In the cases I have had, it's about depravity, substance abuse, and/or mental illness.
Instead of using gender as a proxy for strength, size, or skill, we should create a body typology for sports. There will be all male or all female teams but there will be the overlapping middle where men and women of comparable body types will compete on the same teams.

I think Melania and Donald are the real life plot of Pretty Woman. Melania was an escort Trump hired to be his girlfriend, and later, wife. He destroys companies. He was very angry with his father. If we're ever curious about the sequel, Vivian is biding her time waiting for Edward to die already.
I think of patriotism for my country the way I think about motherhood. My job was to guide and make sure decisons I made reflected my values and priorities. Sometimes I'm frustrated but mostly I'm proud. Regardless. I will always love my children.
