The Christmas gift from my daughter. One of wonderful aspects of loving in France is the unmitigated love you feel here for old books and vintage prints. There are second-hand/specialty booksellers almost everywhere. The typefaces alone in this volume are absolutely gorgeous.

Outstanding support and encouragement from @playersaidblog.bsky.social for the the Old Northwest series by High Flying Dice Games. If anyone has pushed me to continue the series, it's really Grant and Alexander. Special mention to @wetlir.bsky.social for all the help and additional research. 🎯

New game arrival day! Battles of the Old Northwest Series Volume VI: A Most Resolute Action, Fort Meigs, 1813 from High Flying Dice Games designed by Paul Rohrbaugh and illustrated by @zweigefuhle.bsky.social Beautiful game!

Bogged down, for the past few days, in the minutiae of rules editing. Always an ambivalent moment, no?You don't advance on *anything* else as your thoughts are constantly wrapped around modifications and cross-referencing rules sections. But somehow, I sleep better than on most days. 🤪

It's always been a dream to work with Japanese publisher. When living in Asia, 'Six angles' or 'Game Journal' magazines for example were always at the forefront of wargaming graphics. This make-over of "Bulge20" is an homage to Robert M. Chapin Jr., the Time Magazine cartographer during WW2.

I'm trying to not buy too many games right now, but I couldn't resist the combination of @zweigefuhle.bsky.social art and a small box package.
