I just do whiteboard renditions of art/things I see. I try my best to credit where I can, but sometimes mess up and forget. If you know, please help by letting me know who to give credit to.

Since this month is also Men's Mental Health, I wanna share a story. It's a bit long, but bear with me here... At the tender age of 23, I tried to kill myself. I had spent the better part of 7 years isolated and alone. No friends, no family, nobody...

Day 10, I smiled today Like a genuine smile. No mask, no lying to myself in the mirror, just real emotion. I just had that moment where I looked at where I was to where I am now, and... felt a small sense of satisfaction. Could I be better? Well of course I could. But I could be worse too.

Day 9, am I poison for other people...? I've lost contact with so many groups of people over the years, it begs the question "am I toxic?". I don't want to believe I am, but perhaps I am awful for other people. Maybe I am just... no good. How do you change yourself to become "non-toxic" to others?

Day 8, been a week of trying to be more positive. It's been a struggle to say the least, but any time I find myself thinking too much I do something. I walk, I write, I listen, I pull myself away from negativity any way I can. The struggle is doing this myself, as there's no support near me

Day 7, I long to become wanted. For love, for friends, for family... having someone need you for something feels as though it gives me meaning. I used to believe that having people hate me was my meaning. I was miserable. I would never want to make someone else feel as I do. They deserve kindness.

Day 6, I feel like I'm nothing. I want to feel like I matter to people, but I know the only way to really be that is to be something. I work to try and become something... but in the end, I always feel like it's not enough. That I'm not enough... However, this doesn't mean I won't try to improve.

Day 5, I messed up sadly Did someone dumb things, may have hurt some people along the way to where I am now. Am I a good person? Probably not. However, I am a better person now than I have been. I'm not there yet, but every day I work to become more than I am now. One step at a time, everyday.

Day 4, late night/early morning In reality, there are a lot of things that have beaten me when I've been down. People pushing me away, finding ways to hurt me, learning my weaknesses. After some time, you develop a thicker skin so they don't affect you as much. I still want to be soft for others.

Day 3, it was rough. Finding out through secondary means that a friend who's an addict ended their sobriety and hasn't been sober for weeks. Had a chat with them in person, went badly as they brushed me off. Thought I was losing someone else to addiction. Today, they messaged me back apologizing.

I don't wanna see any more toxic Yuri, I wanna see some venomous Yuri. Gimmie a couple that equally fuckin hate everything around them and are terrible people to everyone else but are wonderful to each other.

I find myself asking myself multiple times a day "Am I good?" It's a vague question, with a large amount of interpretations. Am I asking about my mentality? My social activity? My presence with people? How people perceive me? My ethical lifestyle? So many possible answers, but one fits. "no"
