Why can’t the US understand asymmetrical conflicts? And I’m not even speaking of munitions—$30,000 drones vs $3.5 million missiles. As a child my father explained to me not to corner a wild animal. Even a small animal - raccoon? Choice of big vs existential threat to small. It never turns out well.
It’s Santo Domingo, a holiday, especially in Santo Domingo de Heredia, Costa Rica. This year it’s marked by eight days of fiesta and processions. Here we have a procession of big-rigs being blessed by the local priest with holy water.
