I really like how all the party officials are all unifying around el-sayed and yet this site is still developing some toxic ass discourse about it

I had never heard of One Night Only before today but I just watched the trailer (well tried to) and even if you ignore the stupid premise, it had the same problem as my When Harry Met Sally rewatch of a few months ago. I immediately disliked both the leads so I don't care if they get together.
I can't write too long of a Morning Coffee today. Why not? Because it's the 30th anniversary of a debut and - much like 8/5/96 told me - I can't talk my talk with you. Or at least that was the plan. (1/5) #phish
AI has existed in its current form in the workplace for 2 years. The push to use it is a few months old. Really, I’ll be fine without it, better in many ways.
And I just checked and 2.4% of the voters in my district voted for the guy who mainly talks about the “Jewish problem” only lefishly. I hope those 2400 people were just doing that as a random protest and/or none of them live in neighborhood.
Just woke from a horrible dream where there was some sort of world ending tragedy that only affected people and I was trying to strategize how to extend the lives of my cats.
One thing that's clicking is just how similar Dungeon Crawler Carl and Murderbot are at the 10,000 ft view: Crapsack universes with a lot of lore but largely filtered behind a point of view character who just doesn't give a shit about that bullshit.
Please tell me this guy won't get more than 20 votes or so... I thought maybe the site I read was perhaps biased against him, but this is his actual website. I know Jayapal is going to win but don't disappoint me neighbors! fifthrepublic.org

Just realized that Everett Billy conflicts with Jacksonville/Huntsville so it's really AC or nothing.
Come on Vanity Fair, we're way past "No women go to Phish shows" and "Hyuk, they do dr00000000gs" article. Also, "Monday was dedicated to 1995, meaning every song the band played would be one it debuted or wrote that year. " DO SOME RESEARCH.
Well baby, everything dies, that's a fact But maybe everything that dies someday comes back
54 year old woman shocked SHOCKED to discover that all of her friends are perimenopausal for some reason, looks for an excuse.
Cat Power is antivax
I swear that every time I hear a story about Billy, it’s something like this. My in person interactions were similar. I’m sure he has his bad days, but he deserves all of the success he has.
Billy Strings spent his day off the best way possible. 🎸 Instead of resting, Strings crashed a Mountain Stage afterparty at Charleston's legendary Empty Glass, sat in with the John Inghram Band & Candi Jenkins, then kept the music going with a porch jam. Watch ...
I have two, one from Phuket, one from Yakima. Mnemonic: If they’re Thai They will cry. Central Washington? Quite soft spoken.
When you get two cats, how do they decide which one will have a tiny chirp like a pixie’s doorbell and which one will wail like the ghost of a jilted bride?
Sometimes actually hitting post and then deleting gets the intrusive thought out of my head better than leaving it in drafts.
Looking up the candidates on my ballot (not like I’m not voting for Jayapal) and ‘that “people called me an ‘antisemite,’ whatever that is”’ is not making me want to research what the fifth republic party is supposed to be.
As a Jew, one thing I’ve learned is that I have to prioritize my asks of others. After the third or fourth one, people burn out and stop caring. Am I thrilled that SCI still get bookings? No. But that’s much lower than worrying about synagogue bombings.
"Space: the Final Frontier." For the writers of those words, 2026 was considered the distant future. The first episode aired a little under 60 years ago now in September of 66, (1/5) #phish (eventually)
Phish changing their plans away from New Orleans on Mel's birthday is going to save me a lot of money. The alleged tour now is going to be couch only.
Mel wanted to watch 92 night and I didn't hear the "That time then, once again" singing from Mike during the Bouncing jam live. It's very cool!
If this Jacksonville rumor comes true, I'd be tempted to go and cosplay as Jason Mendoza.
I can get the argument that in order to have a league that is only open to a subset of the population, we need to have a good definition of who is eligible. However, I do not understand any definition of girls' sports in which someone with a birth certificate with an F on it would not qualify.
An initiative on the ballot in Washington state in November would require all athletes seeking to play girl's sports from kindergarten to high school to undergo "genetic screening, a testosterone-levels test, or an examination of their reproductive anatomy" before they can play
Me: what is that sound? Oh the furnace is running... in early August. It's currently 49 degrees so I guess it makes sense but that rarely happens now. Mind you, I'll be missing that by Wednesday.
Happy 35th anniversary to Amy's Farm! While legendary "first fan" Amy Skelton owned the farm, I don't know if she lived there. It might feel risky to invite a thousand or so Phish fans to your house, but the early 90s was a reasonably safe scene. (1/8)
How many seeing eye singles can one team have in a game?
Maybe I should have moved to Seattle in 96 instead of 95 so I wouldn't be cursed with this affliction.
