I'm so excited to announce that you can now pre-order WE, THE DROWNING from pretty much all retailers! Barnes & Noble Bookshop.org Walmart Waterstones (UK) Morawa (Austria) Bol.com (Belgium/Netherlands) Booktopia (Australia) Lehmann's (Germany) yes24.com (S. Korea) and more in the next post!

A book graphic for WE, THE DROWNING by Lindz McLeod. The background is a marine blue, with wave graphics. Text reads:

-"pink fairy armadillo pal" with accompanying armadillo graphic
- "Trans protagonist" with accompanying trans (blue/pink/white/pink.blue stripes)
- "eco-fiction dys/utopia"
- "ethical quandries at the end of the world"
- blurb from SM Hallow which reads "“a heartfelt examination of the complicated legacies our mothers leave us, all the while asking us what good we’ll do to correct our ancestors’ mistakes."

There is a small, green seaweed graphic on the bottom right hand corner.

Kitty and Mary was a delightful continuation of Pride and Prejudice, with each of the remaining Bennet sisters having a very sweet HEA in their own ways! Told through letters and diaries, I thought it held up against The Other Bennet Sister really well (and yay for a queer & seafaring Mary!)

A flatlay on a white towel, with an aperol spritz, pink sunglasses, a grey and red wonder woman pattern book sleeve and the pink proof copy of Kitty and Mary by Julia Gray and Imogen Russell Williams - on it had half a face of Kitty Bennet!

Happy birthday to Mary Shelley, born on this day in 1797 📕 At 18, she began writing Frankenstein, helping to invent a whole genre and giving us one of literature’s most iconic monsters. Not a bad legacy.

Black and white etching portrait of Mary Shelley. Her portrait is set in an oval, she is wearing a black off the shoulder gown. Her hair appears to be a dark brown and falls around her jawbone.

Tim Curry and Dolly Parton have taught us not only that you should be bigger, weirder, gayer, and freakier, but also that those qualities are what people will love about you. The things that make you strange and amazing are the things that will resonate with other strange and amazing people

Charles Dickens: ok, so there’s this orphan Editor: we’ve done this one Dickens: but *this* orphan suffers terribly from being poor Editor: sure Dickens: but here’s the catch Editor: (*leans forward) Dickens: he’s. actually. RICH! Editor: good god, magnificent!

SO EXCITED for this online event! If you love Georgiana Darcy like we do, here's your chance to ask us burning questions and grab a signed copy of one of our books (while tickets last)!

When anyone mentions Marilyn Monroe’s pill addiction I am honour bound to bring up her severe incredibly painful endometriosis that she had surgery on BACK THEN because it was so bad. She was considered unreliable by men when she was often in debilitating pain
